This platform is not moved by a forklift because it is a self-propelled pick-up conveyor. This is beneficial, because you do not have to keep bending down to pick up the plant trays. Instead, they are offered at working height while you walk behind the platform. This way, the trays can be packed immediately or placed on carts for transport. This automated pick-up system consists of a self-propelled construction on three wheels with a conveyor belt on top. The machine is powered by an electric motor and a 24-volt traction battery.
